They are responsible for reconnaissance and you will learn about various weapons to include explosives and mines. When information about the enemy is needed, they call on the Scouts. Be prepared to be with young privates again who will get you and your Platoon smoked. The Cavalry Scout is the commanders eyes and ears on the battlefield. Be prepared to assist the DS with getting things in order. The "inserts" will have some kind of leeway BUT be prepared to drop when they drop.
